OUR EXPERIENCE

FARM UCHILLA JAGUA PACHA

ANIMALS

ON  THE FARM I SAW RABBITS, COWS, WORMS, CHICKENS,  AND  ALSO  I SAW A GERMAN SHEPHERD THAT WAS OF THE PEOPLE THAT HAVE THE FARM.

WE FED THE CHICKENS,  AND WE LEARNED  THAT WE CAN´T TAKE A RABBIT FROM THE EARS BECAUSE IT CAN SCRATCH YOUR FACE OR YOUR HANDS.

THE MOST INTERESTING THING ABOUT THAT FARM WAS THE GUINEA PIG ( CUY) AND WE ALSO FED IT AND WE SAW A BABYGUINEA PIG.

UCHILLA JAHUA PACHA

I went with my friends of my school to visit a place called ´´UCHILLA JAHUA PACHA´´ which is a big farm.

When we arrived to this place, a guide was waiting for us.

He showed us the farm and he taught us all about his job.

I saw medical plants, beautiful and interesting plants with flowers and many kinds of trees.

It is called Integral Farm because plants, animals and food are a integral part to make this project.

The workers use the animal’s excrement like organic fertilizer and then the animals eat the fruits of the plants, then the workers sell the products of the animals to make money and to buy all that they need to the farm.

I saw a cow pooping and peeing in front of my grade, I took pictures of earthworms.

I saw horses, sheep, hens, guinea pigs, ducks and other kinds of animals.

I learn the steps to care the animals and growing the nature.

I really spent a great time there.

VISIT TO UCHILLA JAHUA PACHA FARM

I went  to  a  farm called  uchilla jahua pacha.

I  saw  in uchilla jahua  pacha:

1. Flowers.

2. Animals such as: Horses, chickens, ducks, cows and rabbits.

3. Crops.

4. Fruits  and   vegetables such as: Lettuce, tomatoes, beet and so more.

Uchilla jahua pacha  is  very  big and it  is close to the Ruta de los Volcanes.

I love uchilla jahua pacha.

In our visit to the farm,  we had a lot of fun, we saw many animals like cows, dogs, and rabbits. The rabbits are very big and funny, they eat lettuce, they are very lovely.  For lunch, we ate a sandwich and we drank some  fruit juice, it was very delicious. It was raining and we had to run a lot.

We had a great time.

There are many trees like the  paper tree, the lime tree and so many more.

I saw a  very beautiful dog.  I liked  this farm because it was amazing.

I saw a cow  pooping  and peeing  and it was like the water of the shower, it was funny.

We played and we wanted to take the chickens´ eggs.   We drank the water of a little river, the same that was the water of Cotopaxi.

When  I went  to the farm,  I did a lot of activities like feeding the ducks and chickens.

We took the worms with our own hands but we left them because the teacher was afraid of the worms .

We touched the rabbits and the guinea pigs and I learned  a lot of   plants that I didn`t know that existed, and also about insects.

UCHILLA JAHUA PACHA

PEQUEÑO PARAISO

SMALL PARADISE

On this farm,  we saw many things for example: Animals, trees, plants, flowers and small rivers.

There are fun people and they are teaching their kids well.

They taught me that the poop of the cow is the food of the worms.  They taught  me also, that the trees have a lot of different names  and that the small rivers have clean and pure water.

IT’S A NICE PLACE

I LIKED IT

I want to go again to this farm because it is very nice.

Andrea Alvarez.

I saw plants like tierra sagrada, which is a medicine plant.  The pumamaqui leaves are rough and is the most beautiful plant in the world, it feels like a paper on fire.  There was a creek, Maria Jose said that the difference of the river and the creek is that the river is bigger than the creek and the creek is really little.

We saw the lettuce, there are two types of lettuce, the crespa and the cabbage, we saw a tomato tree, there was a black thing for the  hail because the plants  have holes.

We were in the place whereAntonio Josè de  Sucre rested with his troops for the battle of Pichincha.

Juan Pablo Baquero

The water that we saw came from the Cotopaxi.  We could drink it and my friends did it.
This water was very cold and blue.  Before, this water came from Pichincha but now the Pichincha doesn´t have water
and that´s why the water comes from the  Cotopaxi nowadays.

I learned that with the tilo tree leaves,   we can do a tea. Also that the polilepis is like paper.

That the potatoes,  have more than15  poison spreading when they are in crops.

That to the llamas,  if is a male is called llamingo and if is a female is called llama.

Something interesting was that the poop of the cow is food  for other animals

THE FARM (SMALL PARADISE)

On the farm, I amused myself very much.  I could see  cows, sheeps, goats, hens, rabbits, alpacas among others.  And I learned very interesting things, for example that  the rabbits must not be caugh by their ears,  I also saw with a lot of attention the manual form of  milking  cows.  With the alpacas, it is necessary to be careful because they can spit and stamp. I liked the farm so much because it is a place with pure and very agreeable air and with variety of animals. I would like to repeat the excursion to the farm, it seemed very interesting to me.
